This listing is for a unit of Sci-Fi Space Nuns Battle Sisters Sacred Saint
Poleaxe Squad by Minigames Miniatures (See links below for further info). Minis
are printed in 28mm scale and stand roughly 1.5" tall when assembled. 10 32mm
3D printed blank bases are supplied but if you chose to use your own then a
base size of at least 25mm+ is recommended. The miniatures have been printed
using a custom resin mixture offering both great detail and flexibility. These
minis are great figures for Sci-Fi RPGS or wargames including One Page Rules
Grim Dark Future, Stargrave, Warhammer 40k as counts as Sacresants and more.
Miniatures will be supplied as pictured new in a sealed package. Example photo
next to a 40k Sister of Battle is for size reference only. This unit is a
kitbash using parts from multiple minis. The melee weapons, shields and pistols
are all from different models and therefore may need small adjustments to
properly fit. 1mm thick plastic strip will be included and is required to act
as a spacer to mount the shields to the forearms of the miniatures or as you
The head set variants offered refer to the head packs I sell separately.
Because of the photo limit they are not pictured so please check out my other
listings to see what it is you're getting. Please take note that some of the
heads will not fit without modification so check carefully which head pack it
is you want with these figures.
Example photos of how your items are packed are for reference only and could
change depending on availability of resources. If you purchase multiple
miniatures they will be placed in the same packaging if space allows or placed
within a larger clamshell pack for larger figures or multiple orders.
-Cleaning and assembling your prints-
The nature of 3D printing does leave behind areas in need of sanding or
scraping to remove support marks left behind from the printing and cleaning
process and to make sure any parts requiring assembly fit flush. 3D printed
miniatures rarely never need some extent of sanding or scraping to remove
material and marks left behind from these processes. Wet sanding is highly
advised as it achieves the cleanest results when cleaning up support marks.
Some models may also have been hollowed to increase print reliability and
reduce material costs leading to further filling and sanding as drainage holes
will be present on these figures. These drainage holes can be filled easily
with the use of epoxy putty or using plastic rods, toothpicks or thin wood
dowels and CA glue. For final assembly CA (cyanoacrylate) super glue is
recommended as plastic and other glues are incompatible with these minis.
As with most resin materials it is advised to wear a dust mask when sanding
resins as resin dust can be harmful to your lungs and sinuses. This applies
whether its a two part epoxy, urethane or UV activated compound. Wet sanding is
another method to safely sand the models with reduced upper respiratory risk
and also provides a smoother end finish.
